Unintentional injury is the number one cause of death for children in the United States. Safe Kids Coalition, a global organization that is dedicated to protecting kids from unintentional injuries, promotes injury prevention through campaigns such as driver awareness and sports injuries. Bassett Medical Center is committed to providing information to the public about safe living and injury prevention.

Fall Prevention
Falls are a major concern within communities. In 2015, approximately 65 percent of Bassett Health's traumatic-related admissions were related to falls. We support fall-related educational opportunities.
