Release of Test Results & Clinical Notes

Bassett Healthcare Network is now providing patients with immediate online access to test results and clinical visit notes following a medical appointment. This change means that you may see your test results even before your practitioner has reviewed them, and that you will have access to more detailed information than your after-visit summary through your practitioner's visit notes. If you have questions or concerns after seeing your electronic health information, we encourage you to reach out to your health care practitioner to discuss the information further.

Visit our MyBassett Release of Test Results & Clinical Notes webpage to learn more about these new services, including what information is included in your practitioner's clinical notes, why we are sharing these notes with you, and what to expect when you log in to view your test results.

Yes, parents/guardians are able to request full access to their child's health information in MyBassett from birth through age 12 by requesting child proxy access.

  • Receive alerts.

Once your child turns 18 years old, you will no longer be able to access their health information through MyBassett without completing an adult proxy consent form.

Yes, you can view a family member's information through MyBassett. To do this, you must complete an adult proxy consent form. If you have a child, you will have to fill out an adult proxy consent form once they turn 18 to continue having access to their electronic health record.

No, you cannot ask questions or request information for a family member through your own MyBassett account.

If you've completed a proxy consent form for the family member you'd like to ask about, you can access their health record in order to do this through their MyBassett account.
