Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to improve overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sun damage. Using a minimally abrasive instrument to gently exfoliate your skin, microdermabrasion removes the thicker, uneven outer layer, and helps to thicken your collagen, which results in a younger looking complexion.
What microdermabrasion can do:
- Improve age spots and black heads
- Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin)
- Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance
- Lessen the appearance of stretch marks
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores
- Treat acne and the scars left by acne
Fillers & Injectables
Dermal fillers are injected to enhance the look of your face by softening facial creases, removing wrinkles, and improving the appearance of recessed scars. Dermal fillers can help those with early signs of aging, or as a part of facial rejuvenation surgery. Dermal fillers can:
- Plump thin lips
- Enhance shallow contours
- Soften facial creases and wrinkles
- Improve the appearance of recessed scars
- Reconstruct contour deformities in the face
- Decrease or remove the shadow of the lower lids
There are potential risks involved in receiving dermal fillers, therefore it is important that fillers and injectables are performed by professionals. Contact our offices to schedule a consultation with our board-certified clinicians.
Facial Rejuvenation
Facelift
A rhytidectomy, or facelift, is a procedure performed by our board-certified plastic surgeons to improve the visible signs of aging in the face and neck, such as loose skin and excess fat, sagging, and deepening of lines. The loss of youthful contours in the face can be due to variety of factors, including thinning of the skin, loss of facial fat, gravity, sun damage, smoking, as well as heredity and stress.
Neck Contouring
Lower rhytidectomy, or neck contouring, is a procedure used to lift the neck and jawline. Neck contouring treats excess fat and skin relaxation in the lower face that creates jowls, excess fatty deposits under the chin, loose neck skin, and muscle banding in the neck, which have created abnormal contours. Some people feel they are not ready for a full facelift because the upper face is still pleasing. However, many patients will note excess wrinkling of the neck skin, a double chin or jowl lines. Contact our offices to schedule a consultation.
Forehead Lift & Brow Lift
A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, reduces wrinkle lines, improves frown lines, raises sagging eyebrows, and places the eyebrows in a youthful position. This procedure can be performed with a facelift to improve the outcome of a full face lift.
Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the eyelids. Surgery can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids, or both.
Sometimes stretching of the upper eyelid muscle may cause eyelids to droop. This is called eyelid ptosis and requires a different surgical treatment. If you are considering eyelift surgery due to functional concerns with your eyelids, contact our ophthalmology department to discuss the best option for you.
Body Contouring
Liposuction
Liposuction slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits and improving your body contours and proportion.
Benefits of Liposuction:
- One treatment may be all you need to reshape problem areas
- Treat more areas — and larger areas — in one procedure
- May be performed with either local or general anesthesia
- More consistent and predictable result than noninvasive treatments
Tummy Tuck
Tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, removes excess fat and skin and, in most cases, restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer.
Even those with normal BMI's can develop an abdomen that protrudes or is loose and sagging. These instances can be caused by aging, pregnancy, prior surgery, or recent significant weight-loss. Tummy tucks are not a substitute for weight-loss. If you are interested in weight-loss, discuss options with your primary care practitioner, or learn about our bariatric weight-loss surgery here. Schedule a consultation with our board-certified clinicians to discuss if a tummy tuck is right for you.
Arm Lift
An arm lift, also known as a brachioplasty, reshapes the under portion of your upper arm. Fluctuations in weight, aging, and heredity are common causes for the drooping appearance of the upper/under side of the arms due to excess skin and fat. This condition cannot always be corrected with exercise, therefore an arm lift may be the best option for improving appearance.
Thigh Lift
Thigh lift surgery is performed to reshape the thighs by removing excess skin and fat, resulting in a smoother appearance and better proportioned contours. If exercise and weight-management haven't achieved your goals, thigh lift surgery can create firmer, more youthful-looking thighs. Contact our offices to schedule a consultation to discuss if a thigh lift is right for you.
