Our primary care physicians, practitioners, and support staff provide vital preventative health services and health education to our local community members across our eight-county network.

Types of Primary Care Centers

Bassett Healthcare Network’s primary care centers offer family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatric services.

Family Medicine

Family medicine practitioners provide primary care services to patients of all ages. Most of our primary care centers specialize in family medicine.

Internal medicine practitioners, or internists, provide primary care services to patients above the age of 18. Internists specialize in preventing, diagnosing, and treating adult diseases.

Pediatrics

Pediatricians provide primary care services to patients below the age of 18. Pediatricians specialize in providing preventative health services, including immunizations, to infants, children, and adolescents.
