Bassett Healthcare Network’s Convenient Care centers provide easy access to quality health care for the urgent times when your primary care practitioner is unavailable, and a visit to the emergency room isn’t necessary. Our Convenient Care clinics offer same-day and next-day appointments for illnesses or injuries that aren’t life-threatening but should be treated quickly like colds, sprains, rashes, minor cuts, or the flu. 

Bassett convenient care is offered in Cooperstown, Oneonta, and Herkimer.

Walk-ins Welcome, Open 7 Days a Week!

At Bassett, our Convenient Care locations offer three convenient ways to get care:

1. Walk-in: No appointment needed, just show up!
2. Save Your Spot Online: Use our online tool to let us know you're on your way.
3. Schedule an Appointment: Call or schedule a same-day appointment online.

For scheduled appointments, please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment and check-in at the desk. Bring your current list of medications and any other pertinent medical information.

• Abdominal pain
• Chest pain
• Amputation of limbs or deep wounds with severe bleeding
• Sudden confusion, weakness, dizziness, numbness, severe headache or difficulty speaking or breathing
• Head injuries with loss of consciousness or seizures
• Inability to walk
• Major burns involving the face or large areas of the body
• Vomiting blood
• Post-operative complications
• Smoke or chemical inhalation
• Poisoning, overdoses and suicidal behavior
• Injuries that occurred at work
• Physical or sexual assault
• Pregnancy complications including labor, bleeding, fluid leakage, decreased fetal movement
