Cobleskill Regional Hospital Receives a Five-Star Cleanliness Rating From Becker's Hospital Review

Cobleskill, NY – In September, the medical trade magazine Becker's Hospital Review announced that Cobleskill Regional Hospital was receiving their five-star cleanliness rating for 2024. This places Cobleskill Regional Hospital on an elite list of cleanest hospitals in the nation — a distinction shared with only three other hospitals in New York State. This distinction is a significant accolade for both Bassett Healthcare Network and Compass One, which manages Cobleskill's environmental services.

Becker's arrives at its ratings by analyzing patient survey data collected by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), a federal regulatory body that tracks hospital data. CMS collects patient surveys (known as HCAMPS) at hospitals across the country, providing objective data for analysis on a national level.
