Bassett Healthcare Network Seeks Community Input for 2025–2030 Community Health Needs Assessment

Bassett Healthcare Network is launching the development of the 2025–2030 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). We are seeking valuable input from residents, businesses, and organizations across Delaware, Herkimer, and Schoharie Counties to help shape future health initiatives and improve the overall well-being of our communities.
The CHNA is a comprehensive survey and analysis designed to identify the most pressing health needs facing our community. It serves as a roadmap for health departments, healthcare providers, and community organizations to allocate resources effectively, prioritize programs, and develop strategies that target the specific health challenges of each of these counties.
Why Your Voice Matters
Community input is essential in creating a health plan that reflects the real needs of community residents. By participating in surveys, focus groups, or public forums, individuals have the opportunity to share their concerns, experiences, and suggestions on issues such as access to healthcare, mental health resources, chronic disease prevention, nutrition, physical activity, and more.
