Nutrition (Diet) Therapy
The Mission of the Dietary Department is to provide excellence in service for patient care, to serve nutritionally adequate meals according to physician’s written orders, and to provide dietetic and nutritional counseling to both inpatients and outpatients.
Our registered dietitians can create a diet program that's right for you, train you in self-management skills to improve your diet, and help you make positive changes in your current eating habits. You'll learn about:

- Food selection and preparation
- Reading food labels
- Planning a balanced menu
- Staying on your diet when dining out
- Setting realistic goals
In this mission, we utilize the most current and up to date technology available providing patient nutritional care, while achieving the standards set by regulating agencies such as the Department of Health, Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
We make available the means to assess, monitor, maintain, and regain the health of the patient, by working with the patient, his or her caretaker, and/or the patient's family.
