William Fredette, MD, FAAP
Dr. Fredette grew up in Schenevus, NY, and now lives with his wife and three sons in Worcester, NY. Before turning to medicine, he worked as a writer/producer/director in public television. The two careers seem to have little in common, but are linked by a lifelong interest in teaching and education.
Dr. Fredette has undergraduate degrees in English and communications. He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his pediatrics residency at Albany Medical Center where he received the Otto Faust award for excellence in teaching and patient care. He is board certified in pediatrics and has a special interest in literacy issues.
Mew Kwan Chan-House, MD, FAAP
Dr. Chan-House grew up in Queens, NY. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Albany and her medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Chan-House is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She is married and is the mother of two boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors, sewing and design.
