Tri-Town Regional Hospital Receives Donation of Comfort Bags for Cancer Treatment Patients

 Sidney, NY – Tri-Town Regional Hospital, an affiliate of Bassett Healthcare Network, is grateful to the local community after receiving a donation of 35 comfort bags for cancer treatment patients.

Lindsey Stone, an emergency department nurse at Tri-Town Regional Hospital, collected and distributed the bags, donated by Thirty-One by Lindsey, and obtained monetary and product donations for items such as snacks, hard candies, lotion, hand sanitizer, water bottles, gum, lip balm

and puzzle books. 35 bags were sent to Tri-Town Regional Hospital’s Specialty Services clinic.

      Stone coordinated the project in memory of her friend Carolyn Fisher. Fisher was well known for her outgoing, giving and caring personality.

 “I’m happy to be able to help and give people a little something to get through their treatments and daily struggles,” says Stone.
